A PATTERN 1907 SWORD BAYONET FOR THE SMLE, dated 11. 16, with 17 in. single-edged steel blade fullered on each side, ricasso stamped with 'king's crown / 1907 / 11 16 / SANDERSON' and Broad Arrow bend test 'X', various inspection markings and a reissue date '27' over, steel cross-guard and hilt, with wooden grips, together with its black leather scabbard with black painted steel fittings, some grazing to the scabbard leather and knocks to the grips, length 22 3/4 in. overall
